## Vaccinated travellers
### (or those with exemptions, including children not currently eligible for COVID 19 vaccination)
#### All travellers need to register to enter Tasmania. Unvaccinated travellers need approval to enter the State.

Fully vaccinated travellers aged 12 years and two months and older, travelling from low-risk areas (domestic and overseas) will not need to quarantine on arrival in Tasmania.
Travellers who have spent time in a high-risk area (domestic and overseas) in the 14 days before their arrival in Tasmania will need to have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result conducted within 72 hours before departure to Tasmania. This applies to all travellers aged 5 years and above. (The testing requirement will not apply to travellers who have been out of Tasmania for 7 days or less).
Travel details can be registered through the Tas e-Travel system from 12 December 2021 and can be registered up to 7 days before arrival in Tasmania.
Registered travellers will receive a QR code for scanning on arrival in Tasmania. Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination and a negative COVID-19 PCR test result (for travellers from high-risk areas) may also be requested by authorised officers upon arrival.
Travellers who do not have a QR code or cannot provide evidence of vaccination status or a negative COVID‑19 PCR test result (for travellers from high-risk areas) on arrival will be directed to quarantine in suitable premises or a government managed facility (where fees may apply).
Travellers from low-risk areas (domestic or overseas), who are required to quarantine as a result of not having evidence of vaccination, will be able to leave quarantine once evidence of COVID‑19 vaccination is provided.
Travellers arriving from high-risk areas (domestic or overseas) will need to provide evidence of COVID‑19 vaccination and can leave quarantine once they provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 PCR test.
If a traveller is unable to provide vaccination evidence or a negative COVID-19 PCR test result, they will require approval by the Deputy State Controller to remain in quarantine. If not approved, they will be returned to their point of departure after a negative COVID-19 PCR test result is recorded.
_\*Children under 18 years of age may be required to have an individual travel registration._
\*_\*Overseas arrivals will be required to comply with international arrival conditions at their first port of arrival in Australia._
