Sited on the clifftops of Nusa Dua above the Indian Ocean, the resort introduced what would become the "Kerry Hill touch" — steeply pitched pavilion roofs, shaded walkways, an abundance of water features, and an overwhelming sense of seclusion within the landscape. The project launched a multi-decade relationship between KHA and Aman, eventually producing Tokyo, Kyoto, Amanyangyun, and numerous other Aman properties worldwide. Amanusa remains an exemplar of site-specific seclusion and cultural sensitivity in tropical resort design. ## Reviews & Further Reading - [Paras — Remembering Kerry Hill](https://parasparas.com/archive/remembering-kerry-hill/) - [Kerry Hill — RAIA Gold Medallist (ArchitectureAu)](https://architectureau.com/articles/kerry-hill-raia-gold-medallist/) - [Kerry Hill — Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerry_Hill)
